2020 Mission to Asia

One of the things that I have learned since going to the mission field in 2005 for the first time is that God moves as we move. Not that He needs our help of course, but He blesses others through our actions. I have had many instances where God has moved the hearts of people during my visits that caused them to move out to help others based on the encouragement I was able to provide.

Since returning from Asia in May of 2018 I have been collaborating with Pastors and leaders as to how we can advocate for so many orphans in Asia -as many as 30 million in India alone according to some sources. One of the strategies discussed has been to provide biblical teaching to the body and practical examples as to how others are helping orphans in Zambia.

Through these discussions and deliberations the Great Commandment Workshop (GCW) was born. Our plan for Asia in 2020 is to provide (6) 1-day workshops in Asia. In addition to this, we will be working with Pastors in additional cities as we consider a return in 2021. Our objective will be to build up and deploy the Body of Christ in Asia to care for the orphaned child. This will be an local initiative and local Church Leaders will dominate each day with worship, teaching, and practical examples of how the local church is advancing the Kingdom through the instructions provide by Christ to "love your neighbor".

This costs of this mission covers the team's airfare, in-country transport over 2+ weeks, local costs of the event, media acquisition costs, and workshop material development. Thank you for your prayerful consideration in join us in this effort that will change Asia.
