Help Build the Capacity to serve 1,440 orphaned children monthly
Capacity 1440 is our campaign to build the movement's capacity to provide some level of service for 1,440 orphans monthly. This is a tall order, but we have come so far from our beginnings and now serve 1,272 orphans in 4 countries; DR Congo, Kenya, South Sudan, and Zambia (July 2019).
Serving 1,440 orphans is within our grasp. When we set out in 2014 to rescue more children -we served only 90 of these precious ones. We realize that there are many desperate children that need our help. There is no time to waste! Literally, there are lives a stake and eternity in the balance.
Since our humble beginnings we have done all that we can to muster resources for the aid of orphans and to push these resources to the field in an efficient manner. While this remains an objective of our movement, we cannot continue without investing to create a sustainable mechanism for fulfilling our mission both here at home and abroad. This investment includes staffing, communication tools, resource development efforts, mission specific enterprise development.
We have minimized our fundraising and administrative budget since our inception, in fact these costs are less than 13% since 2005. For the remainder of 2019 & 2020 is $63,750 is needed to provide for administrative support, donor development platform, program oversight, increased communication with our partners, and funds to support our fundraising activity.
