07/21/21 Update - We will be spending two days, August 9-10, at Fortune Learners Centre where 69 orphan children attend on GO! Scholarship.

07/18/21 Update - We have confirmed that we will co-host a Leadership Conference with Arise Ministries in Nairobi on August 7th.

07/12/21 Update - Today we are able to announce a match on the first $3,000 raised for this mission meaning your gift today will have double the impact.

07/05/21 Update - Our team is now confirmed, and our President & Founder, Scott Nordstrom, will travel solo to Nairobi, Kenya, next month to prepare for growing the GO! ministry in Kenya in the coming years.

This will be our first deployment to the field since 2019, when we visit one of our newest partnership in Nairobi, Kenya, Fortune Learners Centre. We are looking to send additional teams with more frequency to this mission post in the coming years. The below is our outlined mission costs:

OBJECTIVE:

• Partnership development work at Fortune Learners Centre for 2-days
• Hands-on experience serving orphans and working with other community members
  
• Assess Care for the children receiving aid through local partnerships in Nairobi
• Mission objectives are to update Child Impact Reports for Scholarship recipients, to consider church partnership development, and to work through the logistics for larger and more frequent mission team deployments
• Ministry, serve, & fellowship in a Nairobi Churches

LOCATION: Nairobi & Kayole, Kenya

TIMING: July 31 – August 13, 2021

MISSION RELATED: $4,241 -Travel, Content creation, video acquisition, and partnership development

SCHOLARSHIPS: $18,772 –Unfunded Education costs for 84 students for remainder of 2021

While In Kenya, we work with the children on their correspondence, gather data to update their profiles, and consider maintenance projects at the school for the future. And of course, we will be encouraging the local people wherever we go with the Gospel.
