Change the Life for a Child Today!
Based on the negative economic impact of COVID-19 in Pakistan and other socio-economic challenges, families Nusrat's are struggling to meet basic needs like food, education, and housing. These challenges are magnified for families with a widow as the head-of-household. Day labor opportunities have decreased, and many other economic activities have diminished since the start of 2020. Many of these women work to clean the homes of others, and many of these jobs have ceased to exist.
In June 2020, we began to work with our partner in Punjab, Bethel Church of Pakistan, to identify households headed by widows that were in need of aid. We are now serving 58 orphaned children in 17 families in Pakistan in this partnership that is within our Home-based Care Initiative.
This program allows these families to stay together and for the children to be raised by their very own mother rather than in some far-away orphanage. These families also hear the Gospel as part of their local community church. Your monthly support will fund their stay in their own home within their own family.
